Number Magic

Question :
What are Aliquot Parts ?

Answer :
Aliquot is actually a part of a number or quantity which will divide the number or quantity without a remainder. It can also called a submultiple.
The word comes from the Latin ali (other) and quot (how many).
For Example,
4 is an Aliquot or submultiple of 16.
An aliquot sequence is formed by taking the sum of the aliquot parts of a number, adding them to form a new number, then repeating this process on the next number and so on.
